Our team members file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. This does not, however, transfer the responsibility of your financial obligation to the insurance company. We are currently in network with many of the Aetna plans. Your dental benefits are based on the agreement your employer negotiated with your insurance carrier. The patient payment portion covered from procedures varies depending on the coverage provided by your employer. Please take a moment to review your insurance benefit information to better understand the benefits your plan provides. An estimate of the amount covered by your insurance company will be provided at the time of your treatment, based on the information they provide to us. The estimate is never a guarantee of benefits or the amount that will be paid. If the amount paid by the insurance company is less than or greater than the estimate, then you will be billed the difference or issued a credit in the event of an overpayment. Please let us know if you have questions about our financial policies or financing options prior to your treatment.
CareCredit financial options that work like a credit card for healthcare costs. These plans allow you to spread the cost of your treatment into monthly payment amounts that fit your budget. You choose the term, usually between 6 and 18 months. Just make all your payments on time until you pay off the balance. Divine Blue Dental Plan
Divine Blue is a unique dental service plan offering an alternative to traditional dental insurance through a membership program. It rewards patients for taking care of their oral health, allowing our office to provide higher-quality care. Patients enjoy benefits like no deductibles, no caps on benefits per year, and acceptance of elective procedures, all with savings on preventive and restorative care and flexible payment plans.
It’s important to understand that Divine Blue is not insurance but a discount plan, available exclusively at Divine Expressions Family Dentistry locations. It cannot be combined with other dental insurance or used for treatments covered by workman’s compensation or car insurance, specialist referrals, hospital charges, or beyond the dentist’s expertise. An Auto-Renewal Policy offers a 5% discount for consecutive years.
Coverage includes diagnostic services and X-rays (such as exams and fluoride treatments), cleanings, sealants, whitening, and major dental work like crowns, veneers, and orthodontics, providing a 15-20% discount on these services. The plan requires upfront payment of annual premiums, is active for one year from sign-up, and offers financing options. Note, premiums are non-refundable if the plan isn’t utilized.
